Apparently we are both wrong.

From the Sens official Fb page:

IMPORTANT message for all season-seat holders: Due to an overwhelming majority of players coming down with the flu, the Season Seat Holder Appreciation Day that was scheduled for tomororw, March 7th has been CANCELLED. A makeup event will be announced very soon. We apologize for any inconvenience....but it just wouldn...'t be as much fun without the players! Please spread the word.

Just an FYI for those who haven't heard yet...

Sens season-seat holder event off

Rampant player illness forces cancellation of appreciation day

Saturday, 06.03.2010 / 10:32 AM / Features

Ottawa Senators
(UPDATE: Due to the number of Senators players who are sick with the flu, the season-seat holder event scheduled for Sunday at Scotiabank Place has been cancelled).

Really sucks for those who were going to attend.  Trying to find out if it's postponed to another day... by saying "cancelled" I'm guessing not.  Can understand why it's canceled tomorrow, but would have been nice to see it postponed.

Well, boo-hoo!   :icon_hiding2:

Sorry, I always think of Owen Nolan whenever I hear about hockey teams with the flu.   :laugh2:

I think you misinterpreted my post :P  Its solely informational.  For example, I was especially wondering why Winchester wasn't at practice yesterday as he also was not playing the day before.

Kuba still out with his injury.
Winchester will likely still be out due to personal reasons.
Flu is going around the dressing room... Ruutu, Regin, Shannon. ... may or may not play.  Callups are a possibility.

4-1 Sens loss... again.

4-1 Rangers

Many sources point that the Flyers are actively pursuing Hamhuis.

I hope this is Murray's way of pressuring Volchie's agent.

This might change your minds... haha

Engaging Senators prospect Erik Karlsson has managed to take in some of the sites during his first week in Ottawa. He found the market area nice, but small. How about the pretty girls? "I haven't seen any pretty girls so far," the 18-year-old Swede said yesterday with a smile. "There are no pretty girls in Canada."

Sorry link is now dead, but discussed here (

Rangers recalled Corey Potter from the AHL in case Del Zotto is not available.

I wanted to go, but I leave from Ottawa to Vancouver the next afternoon.  Boo :(

Full respect to whoever is in charge of the puckdrop. Registering airspace and endless worrying about the weather is some stressful stuff... haha.

4-3 Sens (regulation) win
