For those of you who keep tabs here I just wanted to pass on that Kevin Marchment AKA 50MissionCap passed away on March 30. He was a friend, member and moderator here while the site was active. May he rest in peace.
I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy. I am working from home and the only time I go out is for groceries and other essential items. How is everyone doing?
It has been that kind of summer for sure. We went camping last week to the Pinery Prov. Park on Lake Huron. The first couple of days in sweltering heat and had to go through a huge storm. Thr lake is so high this year that there is very little beach to speak of.
I'm afraid you are correct. This team has been in rebuilding mode for far to long. It would surprise me if any talented player would want to spend any kind of time and commitment to this team right now.
Glad to hear all is well. I wish more people would come to the site and say hi but these are the times of social media. I do have a facebook page for SN but I don't have the time to maintain it or anything.
I agree. They certainly exceeded many peoples expectations. I believe that with a couple of key moves they will get stronger in the next couple of years.
Heart and determination only goes so far. You have to play consistent hockey. I really like the system they are playing against the Pens. Its totally frustrating them and it creates mistakes and chances.
If they keep pounding on Crosby and keep him out of the play while keeping an eye on Malkin and creating lots of traffic in front of Fleury then the Sens have a good chance. The big keys will be to win the forecheck game and keep cycling the puck.
What the hell was that last night? They were never in the game. Very sloppy. Any word on Karlsson's injury? They better turn it around Saturday or the series is done.
