I swear I heard last night what sounded like wolves here near Hunt Club rd woods in the south. Thats three times the past month.

Do coyotes howl? Because they are definitely in that area and out around here in Barrhaven.

I saw a porcupine in my neighbourhood late one night this past week. I've seen foxes, raccoons and tons of skunks but it was my first porcupine.

^^^That's awful. We just get black bears in my driveway, and I don't even live in the country. The last Mama bear had 3 baby cubs with her.

Coyotes do howl, we have a number of them out where we live in Navan, it's hilarious when my Australian Shepherd howls back, it's rare, but he will sit beside the window in our living room and go "arooooooooooooooooo: in the softest way.

We had less than usual kids at our door last night. Although it was fairly busy for the first hour or so. How about everyone else? Thought it being a Friday and the temperatures rather mild that we would be overwhelmed but we have more treats left over than we normally do.

I didn't decorate or dress up this year. Kind of missed it to tell the truth. We were at a hockey game instead, which always takes precedence over Halloween.

I was the highest bidder for the Elliott jersey they wore during the game. Halloween themed which were kinda cool. After I wash it, (believe me it needs it,

) I'll post a picture.

I got some photos of the boys with the Halloween sweaters on as well but won't be able to post until Sunday night.

They had a costume parade between periods... Low and behold a kid dressed up as an RCMP officer and won. I think the Chicken was probably runner up.
