Its unfortunate that some players believe that they must do whatever it takes in order to get the advantage on their side.  Is it not more honorable to win a game on a level playing field than to diminish the game with shameful acts?  Is that what sportsmanship is supposed to be about?

I have always been a believer that the refs need to start calling the dive alone, as it becomes difficult to determine if the player actually would have fallen or been impeded by a trip or hook if he tried to play through it.

Call the dive, send a message.

I say start suspending divers. You get one warning, and after that you get suspended. I suspect a 99.999% decrease in diving after that.
