My opinion: most just grew up. The old user base was mostly young, and many likely just stopped posting on a hockey website.

I remember the game chat sessions we use to have, it was quite a few joining in every time. I think possibly remarketing this site might pick up a few more. Also adding twitter Facebook and possibly Instagram could possibly revamp the traffic. Just a thought.

What MH said as well as the poor performance of the team in the past few years has led to little if any worthwhile discussions.  As for the various social media options, I have thought of all that however I just don't have the time for it these days.

True. It has a lot to do with the highs the team reached in 2006 and then the mediocre seasons ever since.

Holy smokes, haven't posted here in 5 years. I remember 10-12 years ago this site had a lot of traffic. Memories... I suspect a lot of folks have moved to Hfboards. I admit it's kind of been the case for me but Hf is just unbearable to read most of the time. I'd rather read about hockey here but damn, looking at the forum... it's indeed a bit of a graveyard right now. :(

Like Metal says alot of the posters were young but im curious why new posters didn't replace the ones that left. We just need the Sens to become a very strong team again and then we'll have the old sensnet back.
