Game 3 was amazing.  It was so much fun at SBP.  I never in a million years thought that I'd do the opening like that.
Cool indeed.
Thanks Dags for recording that...much appreciated.

PM sent back Dags...

Yah.  It was his official photographer that took it...
I was supposed to get it autographed, but that never happened...

I had a very cool week that week.  Met the PM, Don Cherry, and Pete Rose.

I met him that night too...
Crap...we could be brothers...

You can't call a penalty after the fact.  By this I mean, they can't review the play and then say, Goaltender interference.
Only on ice officials can call penalties.

Although, to me, goaltender interference made more sens than the kicking.  But the replay can only say either A) the puck crossed the line or B) it was kicked in so no Goal.  The same is true when it comes to a whistle being blown.  This can not be overruled by video review.  They can only say whether or not the puck crossed the line.

My guess...all those people sliding all over the floor...or...sticks.

Yup...quite the shellacking...
DaFreak will think twice next time he posts smack about us.  He likes to mention how I'm a bit chubbier now than in high school...he's been remarkably quiet after the complete destruction of Sen City!

Way to go Underground.

Why would you use that at a hockey game when both your hands are free?  Unless of course you're double-fisting beers all night!?
You got that right! :sportsfan:

But actually, I had just got the bluetooth that day.  I was experimenting.  And Ben...we all know who the real geek is.
Russell!!

Bah ha ha ha ah

Ivan, does your cell phone look something like this??? :A_laughing_matter:

Actually..no..
The issue with my phone at the game was the bluetooth headset I was wearing.  It was picking up the ambient noise of the crowd.

Next time, I'll take off the headset and talk normally.  Sorry about that PHJ...

Funny though, I used to have a phone like that back in the day.  I kept it for a long time to show some of the younger folk what some of the early cell phones looked like.  Nothing like anylog quality though.  It's still better than digital.  But man, the power output to those things fried your brain.  I guess that explains some things!

Sens Underground Announcements / Re: Corvo is horrible

Shubie was -3 last night, worse than Corvo, so that pretty much weakens the arguement...

In my opinion the whole team (Forwards, Defense, Goal) played horrible defense and need to skate wind sprints until they puke blood...

But for 2 of the 3 minuses...corvo was on with him...

Schubert is better defensively and a very good skater.

I'm thinking it was more than just Corvo myself. Especially since he was on the ice for only 1/3 of the goals scored.

Oh it wasn't just Corvo...but he is this week's whipping boy for me.  He is terrible defensively.
And...he was on the ice for 1/2 the goals scored.  The pp goal scored against does not count against plus/minus and he was largely to blame.

He definitely should not be on the Penalty kill.  And his minutes should be dropped in favour of Shubetrt

Sens Underground Announcements / Corvo is horrible
« on: December 14, 2006, 11:27:25 PM »
After watching tonight's game, I can only conclude that Corvo is by far, the worst defenseman on the team.  His read on plays is just terrible.  But, some of this blame has to fall on the coach.  Game after game Corvo has been put on the penalty kill???? Huh?  Corvo? Penalty kill?  You have got to be kidding me.  Give someone else a chance.  As good as he can be offensively, he has no understanding of the defensive game.

As much as I hated Jacques Martin for preaching defense, Murray has no concept of it.  Maybe a combo of these two guys would work.  But we're not winning a Stanley Cup with him at the helm.  He has to recognize the poor defensively play.

Two games in a row, they have also barely had any offense.  So, the two combined will kill you.

For the first time this year, I changed the channel and watched something else.  At least the beer and icegirls were good tonight.
