Doc, I seem to remember the big Donut Hole Fiasco, not so much about Szuper giving you relationship advice.  :smily1263:

Haha Dags I remember that.

I was recently going over some of my private messages from 2003-2005-ish and wow cringe at some things I said lol. I must've been really young

I joined when I was a 20 year old, single, unemployed student. Now 36 married and have little 2 year old boy.

How I wish this place would get busy again. Lots of fun memories here.

Edit: lol my monkey avatar is finally gone

We may start thinking of the possibility of the first Canadian team to win a Stanley Cup since '93.

So we definitely want the caps, right? Alot of star power on that pens team.

I've NEVER seen the Sens play like this. Ever. Who are the vocal leaders on this team? They must be good leaders. Alot of heart on this team.

I agree Metal, he needs to be a bit quicker but then again it's why they partner him with Ceci and/or Karlesson.

Doc, I think Phaneuf was a monster when he played in Calgary.  But as Metal mentioned, He was cast in the wrong role in Toronto.  We're already seeing some benefit to Dion just being able to focus on his game without the distractions.  It's all good.  We are going to need his big body moving forward.

Definitely a good situation for him here away from the toxicity that is the Toronto market. I remember when he was in Calgary he was solid.

Wow...   Has the site been around that long?  At least we have outlived other forums out there.  I'm turning 59 this year.  Getting closer to retirement.

Like Dags says sensnet's longevity is all thanks to you. Wish we could revive it again.

Do you still work with the fella from tmlfans?

I've been a little disconnected from hockey recently. But I'm curious what you guys think of Phaneuf. He seems polarizing. Why is that? Wasn't he a top echelon dman in the league?

Tell me about it. I started coming here at 23, now I'm 37. Yikes.

I can't believe it. Time flies. I started posting here when I was 20, now 34. I remember JL giving me relationship advice when I had my first serious gf. Lol

Funny I should pick today to check back in on this old site.  Nice to read you again Doc.

I don't do a lot of online Message Forums anymore.  Not enough time for the arguments and Trash Talking anymore.

Go Sens Go.

Blast from the past  Nice to read you as well Dags!

'Docawesome' ??? I must've been really young when I went with that name. Lol

Like Metal says alot of the posters were young but im curious why new posters didn't replace the ones that left. We just need the Sens to become a very strong team again and then we'll have the old sensnet back.

Im on Battlefield 1 forums lol.

True. It has a lot to do with the highs the team reached in 2006 and then the mediocre seasons ever since.

I can't wait. Excuse my bandwagoning ways, but how have the sens been playing in terms of toughness and grit this year? When we demolished the habs 2 years ago it was mostly team toughness the habs could not compete against, is this years version the same, less or more tough?

Not sure why but these teams are so much more exciting to watch than the sens versions from 2000-2010. Young, hungry, and playing with a lot of heart. If its Montreal it would be an awesome series... Sens have their number.
