I love this little tidbit I read:

Talking continues

MacLean responded to comments by P.K. Subban that the Habs are "the better team."

"Who was that? Player 76? He's right. They're the No. 2-seeded Montreal Canadiens and we're the No. 7-seeded Senators," said MacLean.

According to CBC Spezza may be back in the lineup if the Sens go deep in the playoffs.  He has been skating with the next step being that he joins the regular practice to see how his back holds up.

Good strategy to target Subban all ight.  The more he got pissed off the more ineffictive he got right down to the cheap shot at the end of the game.  The physical superiority by the sens last night was certainly a message to all that they are not to be taken lightly especially in their own house.

That Bob Cole is something else.  Him and his crew are so blatantly anti Sens its pathetic.  What does CBC have against Ottawa?

Of course the Habs will come back strong tomorrow but except for PK they are no really a physical team which gives the Sens a great advantage.  They will have to target PK and punish him hard to slow him down.

Happy to see the Sens not give up and come up with the big win.  Anderson was stellar.  Now to keep the momentum going tomorrow.

Three wins in a row.  Fourth in the conference point standings. The guys are really holding their own.  What i cant beleive is that Winnipeg is on top of the southeast division.

Maybe its just me but i think that despite having three high profile players out of action they are doing quite well and doing what they can.  The fact that they are still in a playoff spot shows that other lower profile players have stepped it up and kept them in the hunt. Most teams would have buckled under that kind of pressure.  Frankly I am quite proud of the team this year.  Also if the current goaltending continues on to next year along with a couple of key trades the team could be a great contender next year.

Thanks for the recap Rose.  Always a pleasure to read your post-game analysis as I end up missing most games.

Thanks for the info.  That means for those of us behind enemy lines we get to watch a possible total of 14 games as Sportsnet games are blacked out.
