Make the call NOW, Murray.

43
With the way Vermette has been playing, I think they'd be crazy not to put Verms on the top line.

Nah, he'd be better on the second line with Stillman. Would rather have 2 scoring lines (hopefully) than one.

44
I like your lines a lot.

Anybody else think Redden will be a huge contributor in the playoffs? I think he'll play some of his best hockey it's just a hunch, but I think he'll be great. I sure hope so! We need all the breaks we can get.

I'd keep Spezza. He's gonna be great for this team once he hits his prime and plays better defensively. By then, the Sens will have Elliott. While he's no Luongo, at least we get a good goalie (supposedly) and keep our top line.

What the Sens need to do right now is listen to some DIO. Come on, look at these lyrics. It's like it was written for the Sens.
If I were Murray, I'd blast this in practice and in the locker room and give the team a brand new ipod with this one song on it and force them to listen to it every minute of their lives until the sens are officially eliminated.

It's the same old song
You've gotta be somewhere at sometime
They never let you fly

It's like broken glass
You get cut before you see it
So open up your eyes

You've got desire
So let it out
You've got the fire
Stand up and shout-shout

You've got wings of steel
But they never really move you
You only seem to crawl

You've been nailed to the wheel
But never really turning
You know you've got to want it all

You've got desire
So let it out
You've got the fire
Stand up and shout

You are the strongest chain
And not just some reflection
So never hide again

You are the driver
You own the road
You are the fire go on explode

You've got desire
So let it out
You've got the power
Stand up and shout

Sens Talk / Excercise bike interviews
« on: April 02, 2008, 09:36:32 AM »
How long has it been since the Sens did those? I saw the TSN highlights and at the end they showed Spezza and Heatley on them while being interviewed. I don't think I've seen them on the bike all season. Anyway, we all know what happened when they did bike interviews...

53
5-2 Sens

54
You have got to be kidding right?

Gratts and Emery are best Friends are they not?
After their little scruffle in practice earlier this season, who knows? But, that's what I was told which proves my point. You can't take these rumors seriously. There's so much crap out there that's not true.

55
Or because somebody posts it on a message board. The truth is nobody knows what's really going on in there except the players, coach.

56
The dressing room divided into 3 is just a rumor. I heard the rumor was those who want emery in net, those who want gerber in net, and those who don't care as long as they win. Going into more detail from what I was told:

spezza, redden, robitaille, mezsaros, kelly want emery

donovan, heatley, vermette, shubert, mcgrattan, neil want gerber

alfredsson, fisher, volchenkov, phillips, stillman, commodore, richardson aren't involved because they want to win.

I also heard alfredsson, fisher and phillips were asked by murray to hold the meeting and both spezza and emery were the first to leave which is why it ended so quickly.

I also heard Murray's job is at stake.

The point is, they are RUMORS and shouldn't be taken as fact because some nobody that calls in a radio show says they are.

57
The make it or break it.

The true character test.

Same play. 5-2 Habs.

If the Sens wake up. 6-4 Sens

He's gonna play till the end. (which looks very soon)

Emery is done. Only gonna get ice time when Gerber is pulled.

Ottawa has to win 2 of 3...I'm not liking those chances with what we've been seeing for the past few months.
