And when the current young players are good enough, they will all be traded away for the "future"...

I'm afraid you are correct.  This team has been in rebuilding mode for far to long.  It would surprise me if any talented player would want to spend any kind of time and commitment to this team right now.

Hi Folks

I know it was eons I posted something here. Glad to see itís not shut down yet. 😁 Just wanted to open up a thread on whatís going on right now with the sens camp. Will Duchie, Stoner,Dzinger re-sign or will they all go on the trade block? I guess time will tell. Personally I think we will lose Stone and Duchene. Think about it they are in their prime now and do they want to sign with a team that may not be a play off contender for at least 5 plus years from now? Not very likely. I am not sure about Dzingel I have a feeling we will keep him. Lastly Guy Boucher what will happen to him? Most likely he will be let go as his contract is up this summer.  I hope Luke Richardson would be considered a candidate. Thoughts,  comments??  please share.

Glad to hear all is well.  I wish more people would come to the site and say hi but these are the times of social media.  I do have a facebook page for SN but I don't have the time to maintain it or anything.

Popping in to say Hello Ol Fellas!!!!

Hope all is well.  Lets see now.

I reached 404 Lbs in life,  Felt Like shit...that was in 2016.
Since then,

Quit smoking (2.5 Packs a day for 35 Years)
Change my Lifestyle
Had Stomach reduction surgery Feb 2017
My Wife left me in March 2018
I met my current Girlfriend April 2018  (hahaha)
Down to 246 Lbs  (158 lb s lost)

I am living life like i never have before, I'm off all the Meds I was on except for 1 Crestor/day
My knees, Back and Mind are all healthy as heck.
I can retire as early as next year.

Go Sens,   Love these New kids we have on the team.  Since Karlsson gone, team plays much more of team game versus get the puck to EK all the time.    I think we'll have a lot to talk about in the next couple of years.

Thanks Again BD for Keeping SN alive.   Can you port it over to FaceBook?  LOL   :icon_bowdown2:

I think the "forum" format is just dying out. Unfortunately things like Facebook and twitter are becoming the more popular media to chat on however I dont think theyre as personal as places like this were... People become friends (as much as they can be), have good debates and discussions here.. Elsewhere its like people yelling on a soapbox...

Its too bad its come to this point, but what a great place this was.

Check on here every once in a while. Hopefully, we can all crank this board back up to where it used to be.

Wow.  I thought of this forum and clicked in to take a look and saw this thread.   Not one of the main folks like metal et al but I still managed to crank up 14k in posts, way more than any other forum, when I was active.  This place had a special and great vibe that is missed.   A  :drink: to everyone.

What do you mean? The monkey is still there.

Myself, things haven't changed that much. Same wife, same job, same hobbies. Hell, I even still look the same, with only a few gray hair added to it. (and a few extra pounds) :laugh2:

The only things that has really changed is finally buying a house (condo, actually) 4 years ago.
