Some quality saves by Leclaire. Quite impressed so far by his presence as well as the forwards.

Look at it this way Keith, you could've two-handed your goalie in the face.

Oh wait.  :smily1263:

OH MY GAWD!!!  That poor Ballard.  I feel bad for him but at the same time it's nice to get one right after Leclaire let a softy in.

He swatted the puck into his own net.

He swatted the puck into his own net.

Ya, it was in front of him in the air (duh) and he used his left hand to swat it but it went down and behind him.

As he was skating away the camera was on him and you could see him mouth, "Did it go off me?"  and when confirmed he said "$%@#". :)

Boy the arena's dead. They're not even cheering when they clear it out on the penalty kill.

When you know you are out of the playoffs once again, sometimes it's hard to find things to cheer about. I know first hand.  :icon_fryingpan:  But I for one try to look for the silver lining.  But it ain't easy.

I just feel compelled to point it out every time we play in the south.

And just like a broken, worn out record, it's getting old.   :shake:

I remember the good old times when Alfy would kill 5 on 3's singlehandedly. He's gotten many the standing ovation for that over the years.

I don't think this sentence makes sense.   :laugh2:

I remember the good old times when Alfy would singlehandedly kill off 5-on-3's.

This was the same tool that smacked Vokoun in the chops with his stick earlier in the season, right?
We all dream of a team of Chris Kellys.

I find it remarkable Alfie has seventy more points in twenty one fewer games than Iginla, yet most people consider Iginla the far better player.

That's because he fights  :paddle:

But seriously, I think its because Iginla's got the hardware (2 Richards, 1 Art Ross & 1 Pearson) showing that he's been more dominant over his peers over a short period of time, while Alfie has been more consistent over the years.

Edit: On another hilarious note, with Calgary getting eliminated from the playoffs, Jay Bowmeester, Calgary's big off-season acquisition, will once again miss the playoffs.
