Depending on who they get I can see them making it the 2nd round. I think they'd stand a good chance against Buffalo or New Jersey. But if it's Pittsburgh or Washington they'd be lucky to go 5 games. And Pittsburgh is very possible. The Pens may not be what they were last year, but we know they're not a playoff flake either.

They sens have still done a lot better than almost any of us expected in September, during that Heatley mess. Either way they've surpassed my expectations.

Yes stranger things do happen. I'm giving you my prediction. That's it, that's all. I don't think they could win a series against the caps or pens.

And you know what? I'm still happy with this team.

Pleased that the guys pulled off the win last night.....but hopefully the 'cost' of the win won't be too high!!

That was quite the hit on A-Train by Sutton!!! OUCH!!  Was glad to see Volchie leave the ice under his own steam but I will keep my fingers and toes crossed that he did not suffer a concussive injury.  Clouston seemed to indicate during the postgame show that "he'll be all right" but until he is fully examined - and he did go to the hospital from the rink after he left the game - that's likely just a coach giving an optimistic answer after a game.  It would be awful to lose A-Train soooo close to the post-season.

Karlsson had an excellent game last night posting his first three-point game in his young career.  The kid made some good decisions offensively and he sure seems to have quite the touch with his passes.  Nice to see him get back on track after a bad week last week to have four very good games this week.  Can you imagine if he could just grow a bit?!?

Still enjoying what I'm seeing from the Kelly-Ruutu-Neil line.  Good energy almost every shift and certainly would be a handful for opponents.

Elliott was not overly busy last night but was good when he had to be.

Was wondering if there would be ANY penalties in the game as the refs seemed to be letting pretty much everything go......until the third period!  It's that type of inconsistency that drive me bonkers.   :icon_banghead:

Glad to see the boys get back-to-back wins twice this week!   :drink:
