Lalime has 21 saves on 25 shots so far tonight.

Ahem... that's really bad...

Now we can see what he's really made of now that he doesn't have an all-star defence in front of him.

I get the feeling there are going to be a lot of cheap shots and pokes of fun at Jenn this season. She's going to go nuts. Personally, I'm glad she doesn't know my home address.

Lalime lost again.  He's gonna be in the broadcast booth by Easter laying that many eggs.

Watched the first period of the Coyotes/Kings game last night...switching back fromt the Canada/US women's hockey game.

Gretzky made a big mistake as coach - didn't hand in a correct roster sheet and was forced to send one of his guys to the dressing room. His bench was shortened for a time longer when Leclerc went after Avery to settle the score for a brutal looking elbow - and no doubt for his comments on french players, as well.

Avery took 2 for the elbow and 5 for fighting. Leclerc got the instigator, 5 for fighting, and a misconduct.

Both guys got in some good ones in the fight. Leclerc was clearly fighting with more passion, but got hauled down by Avery in the end.

Thought Kolanos was playing well for the Coyotes. Looks a lot like Mike Fisher out there.

Leave a girl alone. Geez. I don't see why I need to be called out on this all the time.

I think I'm just gonna ignore it from now on. I'll like who I damn well please.

Man, Pittsburgh looks awful tonight against Carolina.  They have no defence to speak of.

Stillman had a nice goal for Carolina.  Got the puck coming out of the box on a two-line pass and deked Caron out of his pads. :D

Crosby had a nice chance, but Cam Ward stopped him.  That save lead to Carolina's first goal.

The fact that Lalime is not doing well is completely shocking to me. I, for one, have always supported and believed in that man.

Exactly!

Actually, it seems Blues fans are a little more objective than us. We scapegoat 1 or 2 players...they pretty much call everyone out who is accountable.

That team is in for a long season.

Thibault goes down with an injury in practice but the Pens decide not to call up Fleury to serve as Caron's backup. This is harsh for Marc-Andre.

Thrashers explode for 8 goals again tonight without Kovalchuk.

Bondra, rather than Hossa, has looked like the more impressive ex-Senator. Still, Marian has had his share of points already.

They're shooting out the lights in Pennsylvania and Missouri. Pens and B's currently in a 6-6 tie and the Blues lead the Sharks 6-5.

Two 13 goal games, two 9 goal games.  Crazy.

Lalime gave up 7.  :P  :smily1263:

5-4, 5-0, 8-1, 7-6, 7-6

We will have A LOT of 100+ points and 50+ goals scorers this year.

Another new rule made a big difference in the EDM-VAN game tonight. With 40 seconds left in the third, Ohlund gets called for delay of Game for shooting the puck in the crowd. EDM pulls the goalie, have a 6 on 4 power play and tie the game.

The Oil wins in a shootout. Birthday boy Raffi Torres with 2 goals and scores in the shootout (2-0 EDM) to win the game.

Cloutier sucks.
