Around the League [part 1]
« on: October 05, 2005, 11:21:40 PM »
I don't know where we can talk about non-Sens game, so I'll just make a new thread.

I can't wait to see the highlights on the Minne/Calgary game. Hat trick Chouinard! How awesome is that? 3 points for White? Atta Boy! This is exactly what we need for this team to make the playoffs. Guys have to keep stepping up like this, even with Gaborik out and Rolston and Daigle kept to one point each. The penalties were extremely onesided: 4 for Cal and 9 for Min. Roloson has begun yet another All-star season. I can hardly wait to see it. BTW: If our wager stands, Scram, the Wild are currently in a playoff position :-)

Ovechkin/Halpern/Zubrus looked like the best line in hockey tonight! I thought Washington was doomed (moreso) without Semin. No doubt in my mind that Ovechkin will win the Calder. I actually look forward to seeing the Caps this year, I think they'll surprise us.

Dallas made a huge comeback tonight, I wish I saw that game!

Laaksonen scored for Colorado

I won a $1.70 profit on Pro-line tonight.

I love tonight.

I kept switching between the Calgary game and the Ottawa game. When both were in intermission, I watched the other networks and saw quite a bit of the late stages of the Stars game. What still pisses me off though is that Crosby with his lone assist in a 5-1 loss gets more attention than AO's 2 goal (and hit-filled) debut in a 3-2 win.

Shannahan took nearly 20 minutes in penatlies after Tkachunk hit Datsuk...he fought later on.

And Jenn...Patty Was yanked from the game because, well, he was terrible..

Tee hee. I'm staying up all night to poach Ovechkin in two other Yahoo pools.

And I probably won't be the only one.

Would you feel better if Hasek got yanked and Patty shut out Detroit?

What does Hasek have to do with any of this?

I'm just saying I'm glad we made the right move. Hasek MUST be an improvement on Lalime.

But I never mentioned anything about keeping Lalime with us instead of getting Hasek.

So would you have been glad or frustrated if Lalime got a shutout?

Prusek was sent down to the AHL for a conditioning stint.

BTW, he's with Columbus...

Patty sucked for sure.

Apparently The Lou only had 1 shot on goal in SEVEN powerplays.

They sucked badly all around. Not good. Not good at all.  :icon_thumbsdown:
