My son has been a 49ers fan since he was a little kid.  This year for his 23rd birthday, my husband and I decided to take him out to California to see a home game.  We are going in Sept. and they will be playing Detroit.  My son picked this game because he thought the niners could beat Detroit.  Is he correct?  What do you guys think?  I don't know much about the niners or Detroit.  I'm a Bills fan myself.

I'm a niners homer, so of course. Realistically, its a line call IMO. I hope they do for you though ;)

The niners should win, but with the current qb situation and gore not looking 100% who knows. The defence looks good again sure, but the offence is a worry.
Go Canucks, Go Sens.

Defence looks good, but it isn't going to be good if they're out there for 40mins/game

He was walking after the injury, even down the stairs. That hopefully means its not season ending.

Niners defence didn't sound good at all. Offence was fumble city.

Welcome to 2-14?

Yup. I'm hanging myself as we speak. Reports from the Boston Globe say Chris Simms and Tim Rattay will come in for workouts tomorrow. Personally I prefer Daunte Culpepper.

All you Indy, Steeler, and Charger fans... this is your cheap road to the Super Bowl... you know it wouldn't be possible otherwise.

There are good coaches and there are bad coaches, the real question is "Do you want this person to be a role model to your kids for the next 6 months".  That's the question you have to ask yourself.

My Boys looked absolutely lethal yesterday.  Romo was great as was TO.   Should be a very good season...

Must suck to be a Patriot fan.  They don't stand a chance without Brady under centre.  this is the problem when you have a QB as great as him.  The other guy never get a sniff of experience and then when you lose him your done.  Yeah, they won yesterday but no one can confuse KC for being a contender this year.  I see possible a 500 season of worse once they start playing better teams.

People said the samething when Bledsoe went down with injury.

Wow, I bet they and their fans hope and pray the Cassel is the next Tom Brady but I see that is incredibly unlikely.  I think he's good but I think the fans are going to realize very quickly how actually amazing good Brady is and losing him is probably the worst news possible.

Yep....must have really been bad to get up today and you are a Patriots fan.  You'd feel so crappy!!

I heard he is having an MRI today.  Does not sound like the news will be very good. :shake:

A weakend Patriots team is a good Patriots team.  It means that now nothing will stand in the way of a Super Bowl appearance by my Steelers.

Yeah baby, Yeah!!!!!!
