One trade?  I know that there may be some trickling out of trades that were in the queue just before 3:00 but it sure looks like Murray wasn't able to pull off any real biggies.   Upside, we still have Kelly and Vermette (would have been sad to see them go) but we are still stuck with whats-his-face, the petulant one.

We added 3 players with Stanley Cup rings.  What else would you like? There weren't going to be any bites on our goaltenders.

Ya, us trying to trade our goaies would be like trying to trade a guy with no legs to a championship pole-vaulting team; it just wouldn't happen.  Emery sucks and has too much baggage for a team to take on, and Gerber just isn't playing well enough to warrant his salary.  We are screwed and we know it.  That's why I was hoping Murray didn't mortgage the farm in order to get a few rental players; we just don't have the goaltending to warrant any big moves right now.

The stillman move was second only to the richards trade for tampa/stars, though the sens don't have the cap worries.
