On the topic of the Tee's I think the "Why Not Us?" slogan is about the stupidest I've ever seen. It's like buying a lottery ticket and saying why not me? In the playoffs you want something like Mission 16 or something. Not leaving it up to chance.

Is THAT what those shirts said in Philly?  I was trying to read what it said during highlights I was watching last night when I got home from meeting.

Yeah.....definitely a lame slogan.  Much worse than "Be Red".

But not near as bad as a drunken Roman centurion, with a faulty mic trying to rally the fans.

So true!!

The 'why not us' slogan was borrowed from the Boston Red Sox, by the way, and it worked out nicely for them at the time :)

Yeah...the Flyers should be so lucky to have the same outcome!   :shake:  I guess, for me, it just sounds kind of pitiful!
