Read it on this site. The guy claims to have brought the "hossa/heatley trade"

Also on his site...ahh just read it.

So far no news on the official website or TSN. I wonder if this is true...

A college prospect the Sens picked up near the end of the season, he played a couple games but wasn't eligible in the playoffs due to the fact he was signed after the trade deadline.

How old is he ? If he's under 25, i will start the season in the AHL ,no doubt about it.

I would not be to sure about that. The 3 games he played the sens brass were very very impressed. Some even think he could be a replacement for kelly.

So if people think Winchester, Bass, Foligno, Lee, & Nikulin are "making" the big team, it just seems like a lot of young, mostly unproven players next season.  Not saying it won't happen, just seems strange to me.  But hey, maybe that's just me.

It's not just you....it's me too!  Before that many 'newbies' make it to the Big team, I would have to think it would only be after Murray exhausted any possible trades, etc.

I think Foligno and Lee will have permanent roster spots.  As for Nikulin, Winchester and Bass Im not so sure. Well, maybe Bass but who knows.

Nikulin will be in the ahl and get some experence in that area.As with lee and bass it all depends what happens this summer.

He already played a year in the AHL.  If you read his blogs from the past year, he seemed uncommitted to what you would do next season.  I don't know, call it women's intuition, but I am not convinced Nikulin is willing to give it another year in the A.  He might though, and I believe Zubov will.  You could tell that kid just loved being on the ice.

I guess I don't feel that strongly about him one way or another.  He comes back, he doesn't come back, whatever.
