Both fantastic films, but the question is, which do you prefer?

Fighter Pilots are waaaay sexier than race car drivers, IMHO (with the exception of the recently departed Paul Newman).  Top Gun all the way!!

I have to agree with you there Rose.
Top Gun is a classic.  I never get tired of watching it, especially the volleyball scene.     :smily1263:

Days of Thunder...

I relate more to racing than I do flying a jet  ;)

Here is a side question... Which one of the Canada's Wonderland rides did you like more?  :laugh2:

Never been... I want to go, you would think in the 10 years I have lived in Ontario I would have gone at least once.

I went every summer as a kid. It used to be incredibly expensive, but the price has gone down significantly over the years. Not sure if the quality of the park has gone down proportionally or not as I haven't been in about 5 years.  :laugh2:

Costco in Ottawa had good priced tickets.  That changes year to year, but worth checking out.

My favourtie was the Great Canadian Minebuster.  Big old classic wooden roller coaster.

Growing up out west my family would always go out to the PNE and Playland.  The PNE was a temporary exhibition, but Playland is permanent.  I remember when I was finally big enough to go on my first roller coaster ride, I loved the feel of the wooden coaster!

Minebuster without a doubt! That thing is definitely the best part of the whole place. The Wild Beast is also pretty good. I am not big on the steel ones, the lineups are too much for me on the newer ones.

Behemoth

The first drop is 23 stories almost straight down (80 degrees, I believe)
You go from 0 - 125 kph in less than 3 seconds. . . .have you screamin' like a little girl !!

We go every year. . .my son and I love the coasters.
He's a bigger, louder, faster kinda kid, but still too small to ride the really big ones (need to be 54'')
If you plan to go for more than a day, the season pass is the best deal.
Also, many of the area hotels have stay & play type deals that work out quite reasonable.

If you go mid-week, first thing in the morning . . .most of the rides are walk-up.

Incidentally, the "Top-Gun" roller coaster is pretty sweet as well.
