it was 2 year contract 5 mill each...massive contract it puts us below the cap...so..bye heatley

need to even up that cap...also its 5 mill...he better perform all year...and get like 80+ or this could be bad

ahhh i see well i can understand i had to defend them all year but i have high hopes for them this upcoming season with erik karlsson looking good and jared cowan good prospect and how strong they played at the end of the season...shannon was good winchester was good everyone was good also our goaltending situation was addressed with leclaire and how solid elliot was...so im not gonna say theyre gonna be amazing next season..but i think theyre gonna be a contender at the very least

If the guy helps us win games instead of making us frustrated with turnovers at the blueline ala Spazz...or can dig the puck out of corners and actually make something happen to score unlike Heatley... I'm a happy crapper.

He is - but there is this MetalHawk character on the board and guess what - he absolutely loves Spezza!

I am a longtime fan of Jason and thought the one good thing about the Yashin Jr trade demand was that it ensured Spezza would remain a Senator.

So, is Murray trying to get us more players with character issues? seriously? he's good, but when he's motivated and when he wants to be. I'm sure this has been touched upon somewhere in the previous 5 pages but...wow....hope for the best I guess
