Not a huge flyers fan, but kudos to them. Bye bye Jersey, knocked out in 1st round for second year in a row. That langenbrunner/lemaire feud was badly timed.

Yup.  With Gagne and Carter out, that was an impressive outing tonight.  Watch out Caps.

He looked so normal.  But let's not just pile on Brodeur...How did that Kovalchuk trade work out for ya, Lou?  :laugh2:

Loved his promise of a win.  Bold words from a guy who's playoff record is 1-7.

it makes me happy to see this happen to a Jaques Lemaire team.

Makes me happy too.  He's retiring but they'll find another trap coach to come in and replace him. :(

I must say I loved seeing Brodeur out in the first round again.

As I mentioned previously in some thread, I was betting on Philly seeing how poor Brodeur had been in recent years in the playoffs. That padded my playoff pool nicely ;)
