Can't see the Flyers pulling this one of either.  Flyers go golfing in 5.

You're pretty much guaranteed of one first round upset each conference so this is my east choice. Marty's good in Lemaire's system but like Roy, i think he's slowing down near the end of his career. Add in the langenbrunner-lemaire feud and kovy's MIA status and I think they're primed to fall to the underdog flyers. Richards, carter, pronger seem built for the playoffs and they should give boucher enough support to steal a win. Flyers in 6.

I don't know about any first round upsets but I give this one to the Devils in 6.

Flyers in 6 just because I don't want the Devils trapping their way to another cup EVER again.

Now that I am older, I thought it was great that I seemed to have more patience.  Turns out I just don't give a damn.

Devils in 5 because I have a deepseated and probably completely irrational dislike for Philly, as well as a deepseated and completely rational hatred for Dan Carcillo.
We all dream of a team of Chris Kellys.

I don't mind Philly (or any other team really) but I do not like Carcillo.  He makes my bottom 10 for sure.  Pure idiot and if he was my kid I would be embarrassed by him.

Nice path for the Devils.  If they win this, it's either the Sabres or the Bruins.  NJ to the Eastern final.

What's up with these road teams? I've always thought Jersey was fragile. Which is why I've been saying I hoped the Sens drew Jersey for a month and a half. My concern was people would call a 1st round exit a failure. And the Pens were most likely to eliminate the Sens in the 1st round. But they could beat the Capitals, Devils, or Sabres... and call it successful.

I think Philly had something like 14 shots on goal and scored on two of them.  From the highlights, I thought Brodeur looked a bit 'off'.  :smily677:

Classic stolen game by Boucher.  Not a good long term strategy though.

I've got Flyers in 6 in my hockey pool.

Marty has been terrible in the postseason for the past couple years, the Devils D took a big hit in the Kovy acquisition, and Kovy has been invisible.
