Interesting story on stadium concessions and health violations.  It sounds like Toronto is safe which is good.

Both Ottawa and Toronto were 100% "clean". Edmonton was the worst in Canada with a quarter of vendors at Rexall place cited for serious violations.

Ottawa got a perfect score so why would you be worried?

That's true.  I really enjoy going to a few games a year but to be honest, I enjoy watching at home just as much.  Better food, cheaper beer and it doesn't take me over an hour to get home and into bed.

Plus I happened to be standing beside the Aramark box in SBP during the last 5-min of a game (closer to the main doors than my seat) and they had to be the most loud, obnoxious, rude, overbearing and foul-mouthed people I've ever seen; yes, even more so than Leafs and Habs fans, probably combined.

I try and give them as little of my money as possible.

I'm with you. Usually a quick visit to Timmies before the game, then again during the second intermission. If I go early enough to eat, it's usually Lonestar.
A census taker once tried to test me. I ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice Chianti.

Your place takes the record for the most expensive beer I have ever bought, anywhere. $14 for a pint? Un-****-believable.

The food is a little pricy, but you are eating in front of a live NHL hockey game.  I tend to eat before the games.  As far as health regulations, I find the concessions near where I am to be pretty decent. Except the slobs that cant seem to figure out how to work a mustard dispenser etc and get it all over the floor etc.

That's not a health code violation until they scoop it up with your bun.

Reminds me of the Peel Pub in Montreal.  Great place to watch a game but I heard they got in trouble for recycling beer that was left over in pitchers a few years back.   :(
