Down With Webster coming up shortly on TSN.  Great band.  I've seen them live with my daughter and thought they were really good.

Als up by 7 very quickly in the game.  Penalties against Sask are becoming a factor.

Looks like the RRiders have made some adjustments and taken over.  Now for the half time show.

After the game Calvillo had a press conference and revealed that he has a lesion in his throat and needs to have his thyroid taken out.  Talk about a bittersweet vidtory.

Ya, he said it was some rare form of cancer and would need to be removed.  Amazing he waited until after the season was over but doctors said pregnant women have waited until after they give birth so it wouldn't be bad for him to wait.

Do you think he is ready to retire?  I don't know how old he is or what his career length is but he seems ready.

I think he is still in his prime and has a good 2 - 3 years to go.

'Meh', it wasn't exactly a thriller but at least the action heated up in the 4th.  Hard to watch Durant throw that pick and seal it,  I'd be one of his fans.  But hats off to the Als, they deserved it.=

There was talk about Calvillo retiring before, and I think he needed a little coaxing to come back this year.  But I think he's back for at least one more to try for the threepeat.   Did he look like a guy ready to retire?  Sure didn't to me.

Same with Cahoun.  I think he mentioned that he had played at least 5 last games but keeps coming back.  Good clutch player.  Calvillo will likely be back for another year so he can finish breaking all the records that need to be broken.

At least Saskatchewan didn't win. That's what matters.

My Riders had a phenominal season, they really surprised me making it to the big game. The als defiantly outplayed the riders and deserved to win even though there were some questionable calls.  I was really hurting for durant, he worked his but off not to get sacked but un fortunately he didn't get enough on the ball to get it out of bounds (he is gonna be a great qb).  Congrats als on another great season, better luck next year riders.
