Go B-Sens Go!    :happy dance:

I wish I could do one of those time lapse videos where you combine a weekly picture of your facial expressions since mid last season until now  :laugh2:

Nice job B-Sens, your showing the big club what it takes to win.

Two wins on the road to start the series  :ccclapping:

Binghamton gets hockey in May

The kids that got call ups to Ottawa get their season extended and get some very valuable addition experience at the pro level.  This has  to be good for their long term development and is a great example of why the Murray's are just plain wrong when they say they don't care how the AHL team does.  This playoff run is not only good for the players and the fans in Binghamton, it's good for the future of the entire Senators organization.

Zack Kassian (Windsor Spitfires) has been assigned to the Portland Pirates.  The Spitfires were eliminated by Owen Sound this week and Zack spent the last two games sitting out (yet another) suspension.  The story here:  http://ca.sports.yahoo.com/juniorhockey/news;_ylt=AhOVP6sthPZedoWp9U09F0UNSAU6?slug=ss-attacks_blacker_stands_while_spitfires_kassian_sits

He is a dangerous head-case and is likely to aim to injure out there as he tries to impress the Sabres.  This series just got chippier.

If he plays at all. I didn't think the Pirates needed help do they?

But AHL playoff hockey is the ULTIMATE development tool!  It would be very Murry-esque of Portland NOT to play Kassian 30 minutes a game!

And Bingo chokes away a 1 goal lead with 5 minutes to go, and gives up the winner with 10 seconds left in regulation.

The loss keeps them honest.  5 wins in a row can tend to dilute a senators mind...prospects or not  :laugh2:

Indeed it was a "crappy way to lose" but the atmosphere was electric.  I haven't seen the arena rockin' like that since the lockout.  We had more people in attendance on Saturday then both Portland games put together.   :happy dance:  True, it was a Saturday night but still, AMAZING game to be in attendance for. Tonight will most likely not be a full house but if they win tonight, I would guess a lot more people with be attending the game on Tuesday.

The guys played hard but the "D" is so thin, exhaustion began to show.  It was a tough lose but they have got to learn to win at home.  What's up with that anyway?  Hey don't get me wrong, the road wins are imperative, obviously, but to keep the fans coming, they have to start winning at home.  Eric Gyba may be back tonight which would be a big help to the "D".  He may not be the number one defenseman on the team, but he has a full season at the AHL level under his belt and is sorely needed.

I wish I could do one of those time lapse videos where you combine a weekly picture of your facial expressions since mid last season until now  :laugh2:

I imagine the facial expressions would be pretty much that of any Ottawa Sens fan too.   ;)

Most likely.  He has that weird disease that exacerbates what would be a minor illness to anyone else.  That said, he was seen at the arena today with Derek Smith watching practice from the stands so I guess ya never know.  May be more likely if they go another round.

I believe Derek Smith has a concussion, however that has never been confirmed.  Oh and Gryba WON'T be back tonight.   :(
