NFL Draft 2011
« on: April 29, 2011, 01:39:05 PM »
Great first round last night, some interesting picks to say the least and it's nice to have something football-related to talk about that doesn't require a law degree. Pleased with the Jets adding a DE to help the ailing pass rush, and nice to see the Pats make a characteristically mediocre pick. Also good to see a Canadian boy drafted in the first round (G Danny Watkins, 23rd pick to Philadelphia) although I think he did go a little higher than he should because of his age.
We all dream of a team of Chris Kellys.

I usually follow the NFL draft, but with them being locked out I had absolutely no interest this year.
I don't even know who the Steelers drafted yet  :icon_hiding2:

Cameron Heyward is the only one I remember for the black and gold. Linemen and corners was the theme of their draft, as I recall.
