The man also known as Mr. Teflon has resigned.  Better to leave on your own terms than thrown out by the voters I guess.  His big mistake however was to prorogue the legislature until the Liberals have a new leader.  Although it does sweep the various scandals and bills under the rug it also means nothing gets done and it could be months before a new leader is selected.

Holy crap!  Wasn't clear last night how long he was shutting down the government.  Until a new leader is found, will push things into next year.

So obvious of an attempt to avoid a contempt vote and be forced to disclose the true costs of cancelling those power stations. Hoping it all gets forgotten in a few months time.
