Had a one way contract and not much chance of making the team in Ottawa this year.  Has the offensive talent but did not seem to be developing the other parts of his game.


This gives him a chance to catch on with another team.  Also makes room for a FA signing as Ottawa was getting very close to the maximum number of players (50) they can have under contract.
