2014 Playoffs
« on: April 14, 2014, 07:47:56 AM »
For anyone interested in discussing the playoffs.  My pick is Colorado to win the cup with the dark horse team being Columbus.  Columbus has a good goalie and very capable gritty players that could wear down the best of teams.  All they need to do in the first round is to keep Sid out of the play.
Time passes, things change, the Sens WILL WIN the CUP.

I would like to see Colorado win. They are a fun team to watch, full of great young players...
I'm pretty disinterested in the playoffs as it stands but Im hoping some of the first round matchups turnout to be good.
Second round matchups have potential to be really good though...

I think the series to watch in the first round will be the Kings and Sharks.  Two tough teams battling it out.  They had really close games through the regular season.  To bad they are all late night games.

What's that? A team getting shafted by the refs in a game in Montreal? Where have I seen that before?

Montreal typical.

Lucic is such a goon

Lucic might have crossed the line / broken the code, but Weise going to the media and crying about it isn't that much better in my eyes.

Cherry presented some compelling evidence that shows that it may have been started by Markov during the handshake.
There are good coaches and there are bad coaches, the real question is "Do you want this person to be a role model to your kids for the next 6 months".  That's the question you have to ask yourself.
