Meh. Depth trade that the Sens seem to make every year. He'll be an improvement over Kelly in some aspects, and over Lazar in others, and will then walk away and be forgotten by the fan base, like Arnason or Bell.

Exactly my thoughts.


I would rather have seen Iginla be brought in to be honest, he cost less than Stalberg and still, at his age, brings more to the table. That would have been a clear indication to me that we were going for it you know.


Any thoughts on something like that?

I can't say for sure, but I wouldn't be surprised if Iginla has a no-trade clause, and who's to say he would even waive to come to Ottawa. And to be honest, I'm not that sold on Iginla anymore. 5 years ago, sure. But not sure now.
