2-1 Calgary with a minute left in the second period.

I must admit, seeing Aerosmith excited me more than the game, though.

I am sad that Calgary will have made it futher than us in the their 1 playoff appearance in the past eight years while the Sens have made the playoffs every one of those years.

I'm not gonna be bitter about it. Good for Calgary.

Although I cannot be too bitter about it; they've made it further than Toronto has in the past 36 years.

I'd rather Calgary win than Tampa Bay.

Not everything has to do with the Sens or Leafs..

Calgary's had their share of playoff disappointment. They deserve this.

Was Aerosmith wearing jerseys at all?

That's what I love about Calgary fans, whether bandwagon or not - EVERYONE in that stadium has a red jersey, if its not red - it's a white jersey.  I wish Ottawa would have the same spirit.

...and I hope Philly kicks the sh!t out of TB (ie Lightning will most likely win).

I don't believe they were wearing jerseys, nope. Someone in their booth was, though.

The real Cinderella team, only this time, it's a team for real! Eight years out of the playoffs and written off by almost every experts to not make it to the post-season yet again...but who's laughing now?

Considered the worst team of the six in Canada, they are showing what heart, grit, and determination is all about. And having two MVP calibre players (Iggy, Kipper), a krunkster (Gelinas), and probably the best Coach/GM at the moment doesn't hurt it one bit.

Bring it on, TB/PHI...it doesn't matter who it is. Flames are about to burn ya a$$!

Go Flames Go!

I no longer believe this "you need experiance and aged veterens" in the playoffs BS.  It was proven last year with mini and anahime and espessially this year with Calgary and Tampa.  Grit and a good attitude will take you a lot farther than experiance.

The intensity and emotion of the Calgary players last night...  Especially on the bench with only a few minutes left in the third.  You could literally feel it just by watching the game on TV.

THAT's what it takes to make it to the Cup finals....

It's something I haven't seen from Ottawa, not even in our game 7 last year against Jersey.

I never once believed that an aged and experienced roster was a better one.

That's what I've been saying forever while everyone is complaining about getting the big trade.  I'd rather get a Ryan Smyth over a Petr Bondra (or another big named player) anyday.

A big reason why Calgary is doing so well, is also because of their great end to the season.  They turned it up just in time and that carried on into the playoffs.

WoW.  Way to go Calgary.  Love to see a team use their speed and hustle so well.   Calgary beat out two icing calls in the last minute or two.  Fantastic.
