GAMEDAY FORUM / Re: Gamday Thread - 2016/2017 Playoffs

Oh, I saw that, Chara took a dive me thinks and Turris ended up in the box as you said.  Works both ways right?

I think we are all old enough to "NOT"  let bad reffing interfere with a good game.  God knows, Sens have had their share of BS over the years ,,,, no doubt.

is that the problem with Stalberg?  He looked like a beast down the stretch but I just figured he faded now.  At least he has something ailing him.  Burrows is a Playoff Warrior from all I've read and heard about him, hopefully he gets it going soon, we can take this series.

WOW guys, Good thing I wasn't around when this thread started.  Burrows is exactly the type of in your face guy we needed. He and Brassard have been good Pickups IMO.  Stalberg, not sure about now, he seems to have faded in the Playoffs a tad.  Nice to see Hoff actually producing post season.

Well, Busy Busy in here suddenly.  Refs always suck, but I'm just happy in the end it was Boston sitting in the box for the winner.   :ccclapping:

Funny I should pick today to check back in on this old site.  Nice to read you again Doc.

I don't do a lot of online Message Forums anymore.  Not enough time for the arguments and Trash Talking anymore.

Go Sens Go.

Well crap.  I think the boys just threw all they had at Price and still they fell short.  Oh well, no shame I suppose I like their fight but it's gonna be tough to come back from 3 down.  Hopefully we don't get swept, it would be a cruel end to a great run.   :laugh2:

LOL,

I figured I better pop in and complete the Seniors thread.  I'm leaning with MetalHawk, I think Hammy showed cracks last game for sure...the 1st game I'll say nerves.  Either way, we all know what Andy can do if he is on and I'm hoping his tenure as the backup reminded him of exactly what will happen if he doesn't step up as our Number 1.

I also like the fact Neiler is back in.  He will cause Havoc in front of Price and you know for sure he will run anything that moves.  I think the push back starts tonight  :woohoo

If not, well....it's all house money as they say and our kids are getting some great friggin experience. So not all is lost.

As for McDavid, I thought the same thing...it was the look of "Oh shit" that came across loud and clear.

Could you imagine the conspiracy theories should it actually happen?
Coming out of Quebec?  For sure.

Can't wait for Wed to get here.

So far as Phillips, Neil... It's sad they kind of disappeared into the twilight...but in the same token, if we need their help in a series, I wouldn't consider it a major downgrade to put them in.  Well rested, Battle proven warriors.  I am sure they are both having some veteran input with the team.

Agreed Bones.  This current mix of players has Chemistry like we've not seen before.  The only controversy is when do our Vets like Michalek, Phillips, Neil, Anderson, Lehner etc.. get back into the line up if at all.
Then you have guys like Greening, Peumple, Prince and whom ever else they bring up.

It's weird but I am very confident in the depth we have, and the fact this team knows how to win again thanks to Cameron.

I needed to detox from the Internet.

But now that I want to talk about Playoff hockey, I knew exactly where to come.  :drink:

I think I Forget how to quote, or it's a broken function?   :smily1263:

Montreal would be wicked considering the last time the two met in the Playoffs.
Tampa...it would be Bishop vs Hammond.  LOL...I can just see all the Bishop supporters going up against Hammond supporters all the while Lehner and Anderson find themselves on the outside looking in.

WOW.. Unreal and yet so just

And Hello boys, nice to read you again.

God that brings back memories for me.   I was literally one of the first employess in my company to start using it :-)

I am hoping for an afternoon game on the 19th myself. My work hosts it's annual (Christmas) party that evening otherwise I'd have to PVR it and as you all likely know...somebody always mentions the score before you get home to watch it.
Otherwise, Good to have hockey back.  I'm not happy about the lockout...but I just can't help but want to watch our boys again.

I'm afraid I can't answer the poll. I haven't watched any CFL games this year. If I had to guess based on what I've read ....it would be Toronto.  They are hungry for a championship.
