Sens Pluck Tbay Goalie McEhlinney off waivers

This one is odd....  Maybe part of something else...maybe Some Backup for Bingo since Leclaire is a bust at all levels :smily677:...

I would have wanted Ty Conklin instead.

This will allow Lehner to go to Bingo and actually start developing. This season has been brutal for this development.

Ya, they showed the three goalies available and Conklin had the best stats.  Maybe this means Anderson will be the starter (for now) with Mcehlinney as the backup?  But ya, it should allow Lehner to go back to bingo.

That makes sense, Boo Boo Garrioch confirms that its to allow Lehner to go to Bingo.  Good choice in this case, gets the kid playing.

Let Lehner get some playoff experience.  Conklin $1.4m, McEhlinney about $.6m, so safe a bit of $$ and good for the tank.

I hear people on other boards are saying we claimed McElhinny over Conklin to help with the tank  :laugh2: .

Leclair is also apparently injured again according to Kleinendorst.

Leclair is ledone.

Ya, time to waive him, trade him, text him telling him to pick up his sh*t out front or whatever.  Just get rid of him.

What a disaster of a deal.  I really look forward to having to read about his latest injury.  $8+ million, 16 wins and one playoff win.

EDIT:  I see that the second that came back ending up being Lehner.  Maybe something will be salvaged one day.

He already cleared waivers, and no one in hell would touch him with a 1000-foot pole.

Ya, I forgot that he was waived already and yup, I doubt there is any team in such dire straights that they would chance anything on him.

If they were they would have claimed McEhlinney.
